Duality Trax boss Holly Lester and Gestalt head-honcho Steffan Todorović combine for a new venture into spacey permiters. Their new label ‘Terrazzo’ fuses the bursting underground scenes of Belfast and Estonia, with sights on projecting a futuristic sound that explores all the outer-realms of breaks, electro and techno.

TERRAZZO001 consists of a strong four-fold VA of exciting artists who each slap their distinctive sounds on the EP. Dylan Forbes has a euphoric belter to boot off the A1, ‘Elation’ has a thumping energy that tranfuses tantalising synth-work and a ecstasy-fuelled feeling that will be best served in the peak-time territories. Harrison BDP take’s it down a notch on A2 with ‘Need You Here’, a low-tempo but intesive burner that keeps the atmospheric candle lit amid some more dreamy pads and wonky drum-play.

Eric OS lights up the engines once again on the flip with a pulsing, peak-time house hitter; ‘Lost and Found’ is a proper ceiling-hitter with a surging pace, deft drum-play and lucid synths. Lastly is Anderson, who closes the EP on B2 with ‘Double Bubble’, techy and dexterous with a steppa’ motion; it’s jammed with attitude, mid-set grooves and sharp acid-bleeps to see the EP out in alien style.
