PREMIERE: Adam Nahalewicz – Life On Hold [Save Stage & Radio]

It’s tricky times for almost every musical venue in the UK right now, with very limited funds being distributed to a select-few to stay afloat. With this in mind, Manchester based Stage & Radio have released a wicked compilation of tunes, to generate some funds to see them through to the summer. Compiling 10 solid, club-focussed tracks from a handful of selectors that have been involved in the S&R community. Stage & Radio have been a long-standing musical institution and a true centre-piece of MCR culture since the industrial revolution. Becoming one of the most infamous jazz clubs outside the United States and most recently transitioning into a hub for underground, electronic music. They really need your help. Any donations would make a massive contribution to the venue and it’s support network for artists.

Our premiere features ‘Life On Hold’ from in-form Welsh artist Adam Nahalewicz. His slick sound is sweeping onto the radars of some major players in the scene and is on the verge of breaking through. Demonstrating a knack for deep grooves with his stunning summer blaster Daydream. Which featured on fellow MCR based label ‘Distinct’, for their first vinyl only release. Following it up most recently with a solo venture on Bursnki’s ‘Aesthetic’ label and showcasing his flexibility with some more techier techniques. He’s definitely one to watch! Setting off ‘Life On Hold’ with some dexterous drums and cool-breeze tones, you’ll fall straight into the groove in the first instances. Delving into the rolling, submersing bassline with some pulse-raising, terrace rhythms and glitchy textures. Summer focus fully activated
