M-Tone is a new vision from Manchester based dons Accented Measures and Andrew George. A forward thinking, minimal focused label that promises to deliver their own brand of deep, underground house music. They present their debut release and kick things off with an assertive original mix from Accented Measures himself. Recruiting the skills of label co-owner Andrew George, Beste Modus boss Ed Herbst and fellow Berlin hotshot Monika Ross on the remixes to add their own twisted to A-side.

They ease into proceedings with ‘Photons’. A dexterous, spacey dream from AM that applies a clear focus on minimal frequencies and building up momentum whilst creating an evoking atmosphere that will get you lost in a wall of groove. Ed Herbst brings the Berlin sound and takes things up a notch with an energy-laden remix. Applying attacking percussion and amplifying the dynamism of the original but maintaining the spiritual and emotive pressure. Monika Ross gets deep, dark and defected with matters and blends a UKG flavour that has a killer bassline to boot. Gun fingers on this one. Andrew George rounds off the EP with his own stunning interpretation. The groove ebbs and flows from the start and George masterfully progresses the feeling with rising chords, simmering effects and intricate percussion. Before delving into the final act as he delivers a scintillating bassline that will light up absolutely any dance-floor.
