Born out of Leeuwarden, Deeptrax are a long-standing record label and store that have been at the fore-front of pushing an exhibition of hypogean styles since their initiation back in 2004. Pioneered by Chris Roorda, the dutch imprint push the boundaries of deep subterranean music with a wide pallet that merges all things Leftfield, techno, deep house and raw-eclectic beats. Their respected wax store is a 30,000 strong habitat for all ends of the electronic spectrum and is a true mezzanine for underground enthusiasts to immerse themselves within an array of contrasting records.

2020 exerts a fresh vision for the veteran label, announcing sub-imprint ‘TECH-UM’ to the fold. They kick things off with max-effect, dropping a killer 6 track assortment from ascending DJ and producer, Lostlojic. The experienced, Kiev based artist coherently amplifies the dark, forward-thinking sounds that the label promises to deliver. Releasing on notable labels including Neo Violence, Further Electronix and Thirty Year; Lostlojic pays homage to a disposition of sub-terrestrial influences with this encasement of weapons and we get a full throttle taste of this with our projection of A3- side, ‘Interlinked Cells’. Pulling no punches, he takes us off road and executes a ferocious rave anthem that takes no prisoners. Fierce, uncompromising breaks are composed with a roaring sub-bass, hypnotic chords and wonky synth stabs immersed inside a gloomy, lo-fi atmosphere. Gun fingers at the ready…
