Liverpool is no stranger to being a habitat for quality house music and the city boasts an endless fable of talent that have dominated the scene, with notable stars including Friend Within, Kokiri, Yousef and David Glass all achieving international success inside the last 10 years. A bubbling, underground scene is taking shape with Lauren Lo Sung and Ray Mono emerging through the ranks and inspiring the charge for the next generation of artists to break through. Surge have been laying down the foundations for their own movement, smashing a series of parties that continue to grow in popularity and are a certified hotbed for deep, underground vibrations.

Wasting no time in imposing themselves as a record label, their debut release from rising, UK starlet Parsec set alight the Beatport charts and nestled in at #4 in the Top 100. Surge have got plenty more tricks up their sleeves but first they announce their first VA with 12 killer tunes from a diversification of talented recruits including: BADEO, Artmann, Lorik and Cosenza.

Although in the infancy of his career, the upcoming Mateo has recently dropped records on an array of exciting imprints including Airtime, Sustain, Swerve Digital and Musica Fuera Di Tiempo. His latest creation is a certified summer anthem. Expertly splashing a mesmeric groove inside the dynamic 4×4 drums and the feeling grows with intensity as the track progresses into it’s main section. He Rounds things off in searing fashion with a hypnotic bassline that works so well with the trance inducing vocals.
