Ensuring that the heads who do it for the right reasons will always gravitate towards the movement. They come through with their second official release and it takes shape with 3 vibrant cuts from Chris Whittaker, plus a remix of lead track ‘In Your Mind’ by Lacuna bosses; PSTW. The upsurging UK based producer has been been mounting his ascension in 2020 and has made appearances on DeTiC, ACHT, Lacuna, Whoyostro and Killer Vibe; with a few more tricks up his sleeve to come.

The ‘Azaels Culture’ EP kicks off with ‘In Your Mind’, a hypnotic heater that transfixes a focus on groove and building atmosphere. Dynamic drums are spun with glowing pads and dreamy vocals that eclipse the soaring bass and it will fully get you in the mood. ‘The Wave’ amplifies a techier flex. Increasing the energy with a raw, bass vortex of groove and simmering synths that dance on the beat. ‘Feeling Saxy’ rounds off the original mixes with a curtain closer and a refreshingly unique beat that’s designed to create nostalgic tendencies with it’s evoking chords and minimal frequencies. Bright sax stabs intensify the warm, carnival-esque vibes and provide a great climax to the record. PSTW close off the EP and take on ‘In Your Mind’. The Manchester duo induce the mesmeric notions of the original and apply their signature sound with snappier drums and whip up a frenzy with a piercing bassline.
