Daydream initiate their tenth release and engage their first mini-milestone in style with 4 killer tracks from rising Berlin star, Sota. The French imprint have released a strong catalogue of weighty EP’S with a diverse spectrum of VA’s and solo ventures. The Daydream sound inhabits all of the distinctive key-ingredients for maximum dance-floor appeal; perfectly fusing dubby, club-weapons and atmospheric, minimal groovers. Recruiting a solid dimension of European talents to the family including Nick Beringer, Casey Spillman, Kepler, Jerome C, Stevn aint levn and Le Louche. They welcome Sota back to the label with a full frontal 4 track solo EP after featuring inside two of their most recent compilations and he isn’t messing about.

A1 – Jayvee strikes with a high-octane bomb. Driving, raw rhythms glace the beat inside a fierce bassline as Sota expertly takes us on a trance-inducing journey of hypnotic house music. Certified club weapon business. ‘Vice-Versa and Ely Junction’ occupy A2 and B1 with more groove focussed rollers. Twangy, low end frequencies sit perfectly in the mix with the up-tempo melodies as we go one deeper. Sota completes the EP with B2 – ‘Kim’s Chi’, a radiating, down-tempo cut with glowing pads, intricate percussion and atmospheric energy.
