No Results Found is a fresh collaborative project between two underground enthusiasts that have their tentacles twisting up inside all spectrums of the scene. The duo run a record shop called ‘Recovery Records’ and own individual record labels respectively as ‘ESC_ -‘ & ‘Artifice’. They’re also party-starters in their local perimeter, guised as ‘Secret Shopper’; they locate un-used, unique spaces and turn them into raves. These two really are bright lights for the next generation and have the headzy’ DNA. Diggers, respecters of the craft and the definition of passionate ravers. We’ve got no doubt that this label is going to do some damage and we’ve got the blood-rushing B-side of their first EP to pump into your bass-bins.

Fusing as an artist pairing and imprint under the same moniker, NRF001 produces a double dose of wonky electro that draws inspiration from 90’s rave music and the original acid and tech-house movement.

Tracks titled ‘U.F.O Trips’ and ‘Red or Blue Eccy?’ spark the trippy-tainted identity that the lads are setting. ‘U-F-O-T’ jolts into the intro with a clash of bleeps and odd sounds meddling like Martians performing surgery. The techy bassline pumps out of no-where without warning. No serious build-up, straight into it, steppy and fist-pumping. Ceiling cutting hats and ravey stabs amp the intensity and twist the bassline into different shapes to definitely set the dance alight. It’s very reminiscent of old-skool tech-house flavours and the original Ibiza sound. Pure big-room heat, burning walls and low-ebbed bassy prog in it’s sickest form.

‘R-O-B-E?’ enters the fray in similar bloopy style and you get an acerbic taste into the abrasive nature of the oncoming bubbling bass in the first instances. Morpheus extends his hand out from the Matrix and verbally offers the choice of the red or blue pill before diving into the front-left for this wicked tackle. The serious and formidable brother of the A-flip is no-nonsense energy, tough-talking and speaker frenzy. Peak-time chaos and the perfect weapon to send the dance-floor into hysteria.
