French DJ/Producer, Karaba presents fierce four-tracker ‘Digital Mystery’, forthcoming on Cardiff (UK) based underground super-groovers Haŵs Records. Off the back of a string of superbly crafted singles and EP’s with labels such as AIMED, Tesselate and Nuances de Nuit, Karaba pushes his unique take on the high-energy sounds that are sound tracking the underground dance floors at the minute.

Launching us into a land of uplift and cheek accompanied alongside seas of cosmic grooves, A1 track ‘Belly Pad’ flows with perfect fluidity and sets the tone perfectly for sounds about to be explored in the EP. ‘Transform’ (A2) expands on the rich sound design palette already on offer with this producer and drives it into ever-so-slightly darker realms. All whilst maintaining the short lived, but affective melodic riffs that drive the Karaba sound.

The B-side continues the purposefully chaotic journey with ‘Digital Mystery’ on B1. Like the title suggests, Karaba adds soundscapes of mystery and curiosity with rolling yet intricate breaks-lead rhythms. Rounding off the release with a solid club heater, ‘Club Simulator’ grabs what’s already at a high standard of quality in the release and maintains it for high paced, thick and well-crafted, modern house music magic.

The sound design and clarity in Karaba’s productions deem the young talent to be one to keep your ears out for, with this EP showcasing creativity and unique flair to the current state of house music. A real knack for quick-shot introductions of sounds in a somewhat wildcard manner, yet never losing control of the compositions intention. A producer on top of his craft and only really at the early stages of what’s set to be a solid future for the Frenchman.

‘Digital Mystery’ is the 16^th release from Haŵs and is due to land on both vinyl and digital 10^th June 2022.
